When using the AllianceHCM Affordable Care Act (ACA) solution in tandem with Mercer benefits, this integration streamlines and simplifies the management of your crew members’ medical and supplemental benefits. This gives McDonald’s owners/operators the ability to automate the Mercer enrollment rather than a manual entry paper enrollment.

Instead of having to keep track of eligible crew members, McDonald’s owners/operators can take advantage of AllianceHCM integration for handling all of the information needed to enroll, terminate, and update your crew members’ medical and supplemental benefits through Mercer.

How does ACA compliance keep in sync?

When employees become eligible or ineligible for benefits, based on their ACA status, it adds all employee eligibility records to a census file. AllianceHCM sends this census file to Mercer containing eligible employees, coverage terminations, and updated employee information within the Mercer benefits platform. If an employee terminates or becomes ineligible due to their average hours worked, that also sends an “eligibility end date” to Mercer, and the coverage is canceled.
